Risotto could have used few more minutes.
Tagliattele with duckragu (duck pieces cut in small cubes...) had a strong taste to veggie cooking dust that last for long time after dinner. Despite the big amount of celery trying to cover it.
Difficult to see how this place can compete with the rest of restaurants around.

Evolution or consistency? The restaurant conundrum. You get famous and busy, and people keep coming. This place chose consistency. They've been here since Bowie, and not much has changed. The food is still professionally prepared, but Italian in principle, rather than origin. I doubt anyone leaves here disappointed. The prices are fair and the place has the vibe of the place spies go to blend in and trade secrets.

The exit was abrupt, not to say a bit rude. Possibly, a cultural thing? We were urged to leave in no uncertain terms. Hm. Otherwise, they were friendly and courteous. But when the next batch appeared according to plan...

Good Italian restaurant. You can taste that the food is prepared with love.
