Preis-Leistung ist mehr als mangelhaft. Eigentlich haben wir nur gewartet. Beim Ankommen direkt alles bestellt: Getränke, Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Dessert. Nach einer halben Stunde kamen die Getränke, nach einer Stunde die Vorspeise. Nach ein einhalb Stunden war die Hauptspeise immer noch nicht in Sicht. Zwar wurde sich für die Verzögerung entschuldigt, aber kundenfreundlich sieht auch anders aus. Essen war schon lecker, aber das konnte nun auch nicht über den Zeitverlust weg helfen und sooo gut war das Essen auch nicht. Which I personally find rather good. Since our tipster had touted the schnitzel and I'm a fan of American food, our choice was made very quickly. Classic Wiener Schnitzel with, regular potato salad, in our case French fries, because it simply tastes better. Originally 2 schnitzel were planned, but then, from the o.g. Reasons, stuck with the wild boar burger. Both dishes were served quickly, although more guests had turned up after our arrival. Unfortunately the pictures don't reflect the taste, which was really excellent. Tender, thin schnitzel with super, delicious breading. The burger with a good, strong game aroma and the, I'll call it onion-tomato-mayonnaise Schlönze, were really good. As a small point of criticism, since there was no food, I would like to add the upright beige-gray interior, which is probably intended in the style of the hotel but rather invites you not to linger that long. In addition, we sat, as if in a corridor, which is quite heavily frequented by mostly staff.
Furthermore, a sign for the toilets might be advisable, because if no one from the staff walks past the table, you look for them haphazardly. You can find it in the basement of the lobby. All in all a worthwhile visit with great food at reasonable prices (2 main courses + 2 drinks) just under 50 euros.

Wir waren auf Empfehlung eines Freundes im Foreign Affairs, der dort mal via Gutschein zum Schnitzel essen war. In der Regeln meiden auch wir Hotel Restaurants aber die Aussicht auf ein gutes Schnitzel hat uns dann doch überzeugt. Wir kamen ohne Reservierung an einem Samstag Abend und es war, gelinde gesagt, überhaupt nix los. Was ich persönlich aber eher gut finde. Da unser Tippgeber das Schnitzel angepriesen hatte und ich ein Fan von amerikanischen Essen bin, stand unsere Wahl recht schnell fest. Klassisches Wiener Schnitzel mit ,regulär Kartoffelsalat, in unserem Fall Pommes, weil's einfach besser schmeckt. Ursprünglich waren 2 Schnitzel geplant, bin dann aber, aus o.g. Gründen, beim Wildschwein-Burger hängengeblieben. Beide Gerichte wurden zügig serviert, obwohl sich nach unserem Eintreffen dann doch noch weitere Gäste eingefunden hatten. Leider geben die Bilder den Geschmack nicht wieder, der wirklich hervorragend war. Zartes, dünnes Schnitzel mit super, leckerer Panade. Auch der Burger mit gutem, kräftigem Wildaroma und der, ich nenn's mal Zwiebel-Tomaten-Mayo Schlönze, war richtig gut. Als kleine Kritikpunkte, da das Essen keine hergab, bringe ich mal das biedere beige-graue Interieur an, das wahrscheinlich im Stile des Hotels gewollt ist aber eher zum nicht so lange verweilen einlädt. Zudem saßen wir, wie in einem Gang, der recht stark, von mehrheitlich Personal frequentiert ist.
Des Weiteren wäre vielleicht ein Hinweisschild für die Toiletten ratsam, da man, falls mal niemand vom Personal am Tisch vorbei läuft, planlos nach eben diesen sucht. Zu finden dann übrigens im Untergeschoss der Lobby. Alles in Allem aber ein lohnender Besuch mit super Essen zu vertretbaren Preisen (2 Hauptgerichte + 2 Getränke) knappe 50 Euro.
