So... the food was great. We had the fish soup and gazpacho as appetizers, both delicious. As main course, we had the grilled loup de mer and Wiener schnitzel. My partner has had better Wiener schnitzel, but it was still excellent. I haven’t had grilled loup de mer before, but we both agreed, it was delicious.
As desert we had the parfait and creme brûlée... the Creme brûlée was awesome!

From the food alone, this restaurant gets a solid 4.5 from me...... but the service.....

I don’t want to harp on the service too much considering the circumstances; it’s a small-ish town in former east Germany, coming out of the pandemic lockdown... and it was a Tuesday afternoon... obviously short staffed. But when a fine French restaurant serves wine by the bottle, one expects proper wine service, at least. That means, following the steps from opening the bottle until the approval of the ordering guest before the waiter leaves the table. This did not happen.

I appreciate the fact that there were other guests wanting the waiter’s attention, but wine service comes first in fine restaurants. It only takes 2 minutes tops...

I was also disappointed by the lack of knowledge about the menu from the waiter, and found the general attitude was somewhat indifferent........ but I’ve actually had worse service in France, so I try to take it as an element of authenticity.

The food and atmosphere were great.... and the service from the attached cafe was better than brilliant.

We went here on a Monday evening and had a great time. The service was very friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious (we specifically liked the Gazpacho) and the portion sizes were appropriate. The restaurant also features a very good wine list. Overall highly recommended and we will definitely come back when we are in Berlin.

Upon arrival from the forest side, a faint horsy odour greeted us walking down the stairs. It’s a tunnel, innit. We liked that part best. The bar smelled like sewage. Sorry ????

I don't know why it is so highly rated. I went for lunch, all food looked like cooked long time ago or came out of a can. Staff were wonderful, so it is shame that food wasn't as impressive as service. Maybe dinner is better?

Great place, we had (late) lunch in the terrace and it was very nice. We ordered a steak, duck, some Weizen beers, and a espresso, and everything was perfect. Kudos for the staff! They're super friendly, helpful and attentive.

Friendly staff, genuine Provencal taste, but why refuse to serve cheese after 6pm? I Mean, I've never seen a French dinner without cheese before, after, during, or any combination of such, especially en Provence.
