- Very tasty and authentic Egyptian food. By the best Egyptian restaurant in Berlin.

Value for money 4/5:
- large portion sizes and comes with meat and soup. On average, 12-15 Euros per person for plenty of food.

Atmosphere 4/5:
- Authentic Egyptian environment, with Egyptian music and very friendly staff:

Final verdict: Deserves a 5/5 as it’s way better than other Egyptian restaurants in Berlin. Would def go there again ????

Wow this place is heaven!! We came with an Egyptian friend and he said every dish we tried was like at home. Prices are very fair and service is also nice. Next visit is already planned :-)

I liked it very much. Had a chance to try various dishes and they all tasted good. But the best one was mussakah. Price range is also very good. I definantly recommend this place.

As a cook and an Egyptian, I qualify to rate this place fairly, the location, atmosphere, and music is great, it's like you went back to Egypt for a sec. I ordered a mixed fried plate, this was the highlight, the portion was big, and fulfilling. The mousaka however, was very oily covering the true taste of eggplant and minced meat. Another dish, kebap Halla, wasn't anything like how it should taste like, meat was only boiled throughly, lacking the smokey grilled taste! And when I asked why it doesn't taste authentic, the reply was well this is how we cook it! The waitress wasn't very friendly, hinting that we should leave soon, and indirectly rushing us to leave, even around 1 hour before the official closing time of the restaurant. Overall, it was an okay experience!

Amazing tasty authentic homemade Egyptian food, the starters were perfect and the main dish was amazing, the service was very welcoming and hospitable, definitely recommend it

Very authentic egyptian experience, people and food wise. Feels like a short trip to Cairo, like beeing to an ordinary local restaurant there, loved it.

I love Egyptian food. I was so excited I found an Egyptian restaurant in Berlin. I ordered lentil soup and koshary. The flavor of the food transported me back to this amazing country. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic Egyptian food.
