The amazing place :)
I know this is stupid what I said now but It was a dream my wife's, my brother in law and my.
We ordered double burger, pasta and cheaps and schnitze.l Everything was really good.
Ok maybe you think there is a little expenisve. Ok Yes, there is a little expenisve but the you see a size of dishes you change you change your mind.

For me there was AMAZING EXPERIENCE .

The food there is incredible, can also get normal sizes for most things.

The staff was extremely friendly and forthcoming.

We had dinner here after dinner as well before and the dinner and table arrangement was great!

We chose to sit here simply because of the great and calming view by the window in the second floor. They offered all kinds of German cuisines, which are quite pricey. We ordered a DDR-soup and an interesting Appetizer (chicken and mash potato with a lot of cheese). It was very delicious but too salty.

Food was pretty good even en masse. Great for groups. Staff wasn't as motivated as I would have liked though (speaking with two years of experience in the field myself).
Priced reasonably as well (even though you have to pay 2 euros to get a plate because of 'reasons')

Took so long to get our order, and when it came was totally different to the picture we saw, the dishes and the table were not clean, u can see the dirt on the fork in the picture, and also the burger, 20 something euros, a total nightmare ????????????

We booked a table from Google for 17.00 o clock.Restaurant wasn’t busy and we asked for a table with view to the canal but they refused it even if they had many empty tables. Food was ok nothing special and i would say expensive,especially for the currywurst… the waiter told us that the chips were fresh and homemade but i think they were frozen.Portions are big as the name of the restaurant says… The area is really nice and the restaurant is just outside the u6 metro station.

Very large portions,and good tasting food.I'm very satisfied.????????????
