Wooden floors in hallways mean constant noise bouncing around as soon as rooms start to be serviced - not very well thought out. Room was small but comfortable and superficially clean. Not much attention given to cleanliness of underside of furniture though. Great little bathroom - with hairy drain! Beds really comfortable. All down sides concidered I would use the hotel again given the reasonable price and fantastic location.

The staff is very helpful and the location is easy to find. However, the room facility can be improved in many ways. The sound isolation is very bad. I could hear someone’s iPhone alarm ringing consistently from somewhere at 5am and the owner didn’t try to switch it off. The shampoo I had was expired already in May 2019, even though it doesn’t harm anything.

Terrible hotel. Not sure who gave this hotel a 4-star ranking, but I’ve stayed in cleaner hostels than this so called 4-star design hotel. My bf and I checked in and went up to a room where saw blood and brown stains on the bed. When we complained to reception, the lady said “I already gave you an upgrade” like we’re supposed to be happy to be upgraded to a dirty room. She then moves us into a room barely big enough for one person, claiming that this is the room we originally had booked (we found out later that that was a lie). We went down to complain again and she said that these are the only two rooms she can offer us cause the hotel is fully booked (another lie). Finally she puts us in this basement room which is supposed to be their most deluxe option. The air conditioning didn’t work and the room was so hot we constantly woke up to drink water cause we were so dehydrated. I’m not sure why this is called a design hotel when clearly nothing about the guest experience was properly designed. Furniture was cheap and broken. I can’t believe that this a 4-star hotel and really think this ranking needs to be reconsidered.

Fairly ok hotel. The receptionist wasn't very friendly but rather seemed to be annoyed. The room was ok but it should be cleaned better, specially the bathroom's floor. I would have expected lot more for what I've paid. By the way, I've paid for an upgraded room as part of the deal and yet didn't have one... Quite disappointed! Otherwise, location is GREAT!

Stayed here for 3 night mid week. We essentially just used the hotel as a base camp for resting mid day and for sleeping at night. The staff were very friendly from the few interactions I had with them. The hotel and room were attractive and very clean. The location was close to a number of good restaurants and close to bus stops and subway stations for getting around the city. Breakfast was available for a fee in the morning (if not included in booking) however I did not avail of it. Out room faced out onto the street which could be a little loud sometimes. This didn't really cause problems for us in terms of sleeping however. Overall I'd recommend staying here if you will be out and about the city during the day and just want a nice and comfortable place to rest.

Location was quite alright, situated near one of Berlin's most known shopping areas. Bear in mind that once you check in, you must pay a 100 euros deposit fee, something that we found odd, especially because it takes around 10 days to get it back into your account; plus, the staff was not nice. The room was good, but dated and not as clean as one would expect from a 3 stars hotel, with lots of fingerprints in windows, and quite old bathroom equipment.

Rooms are kept clean and beds are very comfortable , friendly multi-lingual staff providing top service. Only down fall was that you can hear other guests through the walls and walking past loudly as it's laminate flooring throughout . The buffet breakfast provided is good quality. Hotel is walking distance to bus and trains . Would stay again
