Worth a visit to get a glimpse of history

On the night of November 9th, 1989, East Germans gathered here clamoring to be let into West Berlin. It's the moment when the wall fell, when history was made. The tribute is understated yet impactful. Make sure to visit it.

This is the location of the first opening of the wall in 1989. While little is made of it at the site, the most important and telling feature is -what is NOT here-. Here, there is no more wall, no more border, no more walls, kill-zones, and electrified fences.

Amazing must-see place when the Cherry trees blossom, which were gifted by the Japanese to Germany for the unification.

Walk the death street/strip up to the spot with all the cool art and wall. It's better there.

The best attraction in Berlin. Here, 28 years ago was the start of the end of communism.

An important historic symbol of peace during the cold war in my youth ????
