Great place to taste proper German food. The service is efficient, the decoration is lovely and together with the warming food it feels very cozy. Value for money is convenient.

Super cute and cozy restaurant lit by candles in the evening. Tried their käsespätzle — think mac and cheese topped with fried onions — and a blood sausage. Both were delicious. The sausage is much softer than the Eastern European version I’m used to but is excellent nevertheless. Friendly English-speaking service and good prices.

Great restaurant in a very nice and calm area. We got a table outside in the terrace and the service was friendly and quick. Prices very good and possible to pay by card. The food was very tasty, good portions and I liked the menu had not too many options.

The excitement for food builds up quickly when you are entering a place that just transfers the right vibe… ???? The place is just really welcoming and we almost felt home really quick. ???? But that was also because of the absolutely lovely service we received. ???????? Another reason why I am all positive in this story is because I was craving blood sausage and, therefore, went for “Heaven u0026 Earth” - traditional German dish that might cause disgust on many tourist faces, especially as one of the dish’s “nicknames” is “Tote Oma” (u003d Dead Grandma). It was SO delicious that I was an absolute happy man by the end of the meal! ???????????? It sometimes amazes how happy I can get when enjoying good food with fun and nice people … u0026 @sbstn.vgl . ???????? The Spätzle have been a real attraction as well by the way. ???? This place will definitely end up on my favorites list on my Google map. ????

I came here my first night in Berlin after a friend suggested me to go. Great recommendation - good food for good price! I had the dreirlei as starter and the dish of the week, which was bratwurst with kartoffelstampf and salad. I enjoyed this with a good Berliner Berg pale ale. Try it out!

Amazing food, kind people and such a bargain! When our chosen restaurant was unexpectedly closed, we stumbled upon this one and they accommodated us with no reservation. The duck leg and Spätzle were delicious, with a nice healthy salad. Can't wait to return!

A German friend recommended me this place. Great place to try traditional German food and the vibe here is great as well! It’s a very popular restaurant, so it’s better to make a reservation in advance;)
