I reserved (and paid) for a queen bedroom overlooking the garden area with a private bathroom.
Instead, I was given a twin bedroom on the ground floor overlooking the street, with a shared bathroom.
The check-in process was terrible. I was sent wrong information in the email. I was lucky enough to have a german phone number to contact the german number given in the information directly.
The check-out process was also terrible. The same person who checked me in didn't answer or respond to my text. I left the keys in the bedroom and left.
The plus side of the room is that you get 8 electricity sockets, but that is only about it. Pretty useless.
There were 2 spiders. The room had only one central light, which had 3 bulbs, only 1 was functioning. So the room is dim.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
The toilet is very dirty. I didn't even try to enter the kitchen.
There was no internet access at all. I just received a text from the person who checked me in with the network and password of a nearby cafe (Cafe Rex). Guess what? The wireless signal didn't even make it to my room.
Overall, I'd have been much better off paying an extra 5-10 Euros per night for a budget hotel or even an airbnb.
Please do not waste your money and time. It will definitely ruin your stay in Berlin.

Cheapest private double bed we could find this close to public transport and many options to shop and eat. Several U u0026 S Bahn stops within minutes. The bed was comfortable and the view from our corner room windows of the train and busy street is a great way to immerse yourself in city life. 10/10 would stay there again.

Basic but more than enough for a cheap stay in Berlin. Everything was clean. The location is convenient: metro is very close and there is a supermarket around the corner.

The room wasn't the cleanest since they forgot to clean it in advance before we got there. We had to wait for an hour until they let us into our room and could only get our keys hours later which delayed some of our plans.

How disappointed. Nothing like it is described. Located on the first floor of our smelly, stinky building, with no indications for you to find ; except 2 phone numbers tjat are totally useless since no one answers !! One shower for everyone to share, one plug so in the night, you have to choose between charging your phone or anything, and the light. Room extremely warm and loud as the window is right on the same level as the Ubhan, I couldnt stand the heat and the noise and had to book a room in another hotel. Totally Wasted money and time, strongly advice you to do not go there. Wish I could give a minus 3 stars as a rate

Prostitution takes place directly in front of the pension. Police were interrogating a prostitute in front of the pension when I first arrived. I received bedding that seemed to have already been used. A very bright street light shone into my room at night. Hot water was not always available. WiFi was super slow, if it worked at all. Lastly, the management is very disorganized. Random people were consistently waiting outside of the front door claiming they were guests who should be let in but were unable to contact the pension to receive a key.

This is not a hotel. Not even a hostel. It doesn't match expectatuons to any of them. There is no staff on site. No cutlery and no plates as well. No soap and no shampoo. This is just a room for rent in a big apartment. It is a tricky game to get the keys as well. Wide choise of prostitutes on the street, may be a good thing if you are a single traveler.
