I give this place a solid 10 out of 10! never regretted his choice. Rooms are clean, showers and kitchen are also clean. Every day your room is cleaned, which surprisingly not every hostel does. The staff is great!! The hostess never has to wait, always responds quickly and comes to the rescue. Trains from the hostel are within walking distance, which is also important. thanks to this place for a good and comfortable stay in the city of Berlin.

Great place to stay! Very clean, correct and spacious rooms. Quit neigboorhoud, very friendly staff and easy accessible by metro. Also located in a vibrant area with lots of good restaurants! We will definitely come back here.

Unreliable, untrustworthy, these people cancelled our reservations on the day we were to check in, with some lies about our reservation being ‘fake’ as they said they asked Expedia to verify our booking as they could not contact us to verify themselves, said our email bounced back and mobile number didn’t work. Despite this, they verified the refund using the same email and we got it. We have had to find more expensive hotel accommodation at short notice. They obviously got a better offer for the room.

We were on our way to the airport to fly out to Berlin from London when I got an email from the Pension cancelling our reservation with no notice ! I immediately rang the Pension and was informed they had been trying to ring me and email me for 3 days with no answer. The receptionist then said she contacted Expedia (who I made the booking through) and was told my account was ‘fake’ and as such she should ‘cancel’ my booking. Utter rubbish. Stressed us out no end. I will be making a formal complaint to Expedia about the appalling behaviour of Pension Absolute Berlin and try and get it barred from advertising on Expedia. Needless to say, if I could give this place a zero rating I would !

Excellent place to stay. Stayed for 4 nights with my partner in the room with its own bathroom. Very clean and well kept. Felt very welcome and looked after. It is in a great area too, easy to get into the center of Berlin, but also lots of local shops and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone!

Great place to stay in a central location in Berlin. I stayed 2 nights in a room with a shared bathroom and 2 nights in a private room. Both rooms were spacious, well decorated and cosy. Everything was very clean. The shared bathrooms have closed-off cubicles so you have your privacy. Kerstin, the owner, is absolutely lovely and she looks after you. I'll be back!
