A very cool place to stay at when you are in Berlin. It's a bit far from the center, but the room (actually the appartment) was perfect, with a big Wintergarten to chill and very big. Breakfasts were delicious and the people working there, very friendly.
The only thing I would criticise would be the lift. For the rest, everything was perfect

The whole team is very friendly and accommodating. The apartments are really lovingly furnished and very, very large for the price. The breakfast is great and is served on the ground floor. It was a bit late for us because we were always out and about in Berlin all day. But it has to fit into the daily routine of the Kulturhochhaus. Yes, the smell in the stairwell and in the elevator is a bit unconventional. The apartments are very clean.
Although Marzahn has a certain reputation, we felt very safe at all times, both in the apartment and in the house and also on the street.
Traffic connections are great. The tram stops approx. 100m away. The S-Bahn can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. We only used our car very sporadically to reach more distant destinations. However, it takes about 3/4 hour to get to the city center by public transport.
Despite everything or precisely because of it, we will be happy to come back again!

Wir waren bereits 2x im 11.Himmel und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
Das ganze Team ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnungen sind wirklich liebevoll eingerichtet und für den Preis sehr sehr groß. Das Frühstück ist prima und wird im Erdgeschoss gereicht. Für uns war es etwas spät, da wir immer den ganzen Tag in Berlin unterwegs waren. Aber es muss ja in den Tagesablauf des Kulturhochhauses passen. Ja, der Geruch im Treppenhaus und im Fahrstuhl ist etwas eigenwillig. Die Wohungen sind aber sehr sauber.
Obwohl Marzahn einen bestimmten Ruf hat, haben wir uns jederzeit, sowohl in der Wohnung als auch im Haus und auch auf der Straße, sehr sicher gefühlt.
Verkehrsabindung ist super. Die Straßenbahn hält in ca. 100m Entfernung. Die S-Bahn ist fußläufig in nicht mals 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Unser Auto haben wir nur ganz sporadisch gebraucht um weiter entfernte Ziele zu erreichen. Allerdings braucht man in Stadtzentrum mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln etwa eine 3/4-Stunde.
Trotz allem oder gerade deswegen werden wir gerne noch einmal wieder kommen!

Eine tolle Erfahrung! Ich denke gerne an Marzahn zurück. Ein ganz eigener Charme. Hochhaus Romantik Pur! Die Verwalterinnen der Pension sind entzückend Berlinerisch. Ob ich nochmal in die Pension 11 Himmel kommen würde kann ich schwer sagen. Die beiden Wohnungen sind sehr eigenwillig eingerichtet. Es soll Kunst sein ist aber sehr unpraktisch. Beide Wohnungen sind recht groß aber leider kaum zu nutzen. Überall unnütze Deko. Die Ausstattung lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Es fehlt schon an simplen Gläsern und Tassen. Wir tranken dann aus Joghurtbechern. Dafür lag in einem Zimmer Stroh!? Ich hab mich gefühlt wie in einer Wohnung aus Sperrmüll deklariert als Kunst.
