The architecture of the hotel reminds me very much of the former glory of Eastern German and Sowjet times. On the inside, everything is charming, sleazy and adventurous, including many of the fellow guests. It was an interesting experience to be insulted by someone who was probably an actor in a gangster movie and rehearsing his role, so I didn't take it personal. My room didn't fit into the outer appearance, it was clean and more comfortable than hotels I experienced in London, on the other hand, my co-travellers who had a separate room really enjoyed the blood stains on their sheets. I will be back for sure.

150€ for a night might be cheep in Berlin, however the overall experience was awful.
Pros:
* Nice forthcoming staff in reception that was trying to fix things for us.
Cons:
* No functional elevator in this 6-7 floors complex.
* Squeaky beds, (see attached video sample).
* Smell of mold in the toilet
* Paint on the floor in the room (like an 7 year old child made the wall paint).
* The "free parking" offered, was in a street close by with far from 0 break-ins in the cars parked there. The parking in front of the hotel is good, but only considers guests that stays 1 night. Hotel rate only between 14:00-11:00.
* No curtains in the windows when we got there, but this was the one thing they managed to fix, so kudos for that.
* We had not booked breakfast, but was compensated with breakfast tokens for all our problems. However when we got down to the breakfast all plates was badly washed, so we skipped it and went to the local Lidl store to get breakfast.
* Apart from the reception, all other staff was incapable of speaking English (and barely German as well), and my impression was that the staff was living outside in the back of the complex in tents(?!).

All in all, I've only been staying in one worse accommodation before in my life, and that was Eurotower in London, but then the price was 10£ per night.

I was little bit scared by all the bad reviews here , but at the end our stay was fine. Hot water, clean rooms, nice staff… nice bistro few meters away with delicious kebab… hotel is quite old without elevator… but beside that it was price worthy

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Everything is disgusting. The service is very bad. The rooms are unclean and not cleaned even if requested.
Bad smell, no TV, paid parking (5€ per day). There is no refrigerator or air conditioner. Everything is uncomfortable.

I could hv given zero but there are no option for this. Many issues:
1). Rooms are in very bad shape. Dirty, and kind of smell.
2). No ventilation.
3). Lift is not working, i guess atleast from many months. Problem is, they hv just one lift and it is not working.
4). Very far away from the city center. It feel like u r not in Germany but kinda gangwar place. Night is not safe. Even inside the hotel, you will feel that any time u will be looted.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Plz don't stay here. Never think to book.

I booked one night through agoda on 13th July. However, without knowing it, 3 days had been reserved, and payment had been made. About $400 was about to disappear.
I requested a refund for the 2 errors in the payment through Agoda.
I was informed about the unfairness of the payment for about a week. And no other contact at all.
I will inform you. Please pay very carefully before paying for this accommodation.
There may be cases where payment is made multiple times without you even knowing it.
Hope there is no damage.

Cons: Small room, no AC - very warm, dirty beds, no shampoo or body wash qnd the handwash was filled with water.
Pros: wifi and parking which cost 5 euros.
