Lovely affordable hotel in great location with good transport links and excellent places to eat nearby. Our first impression was the tall ceilings, friendly staff and quietness of the rooms (considering it's right in the center of the city). The building has a nice old architecture with a lovely small garden in the middle and large windows. Waking up to the sound of birds singing was so nice and relaxing. Just around the corner we found some amazing bakeries and coffee shops which were a perfect stop for breakfast. Easy to access by train from the airport, good restaurants around and nice neighborhood to walk through even at night. Room and bed were very comfortable. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that they only have single bed duvets even on double beds! Still warm and comfy though... I would recommend

The hotel is definitely clean and in a great location, but there were quite a few issues to be aware of.
First off, the shower is absolutely horrendous. I had a small room with just a small shower, but it was near unusable. The shower stall is tint, with shower curtains that either cling to your entire body during your shower, due to the shower being so small, or you flood the entire bathroom when pushing the curtains outside of the shower tray to avoid it suffocating you.
The shower head is installed in a way that it cannot be angled downwards, instead it points straight out, you either spray the wall directly, or the shower curtain. But to use the shower, you have to hold the shower head in your hand to actually catch any of the water. Which takes about two minutes to run warm as well.

I also requested my coffee sachets be refilled twice, but they never were. They only provided two sachets for a 4 night stay in a double room!

I didn't have the breakfast as it was quite expensive and I figured I'd be better off having breakfast elsewhere.

Staff were okay, not super friendly but not unfriendly either. For some reason the housekeeping staff kept leaving all the lights on in the room all day, when I had turned them all off before leaving. What a waste of energy!

The bed was comfortable, though there was a light switch for a reading light installed inside the headboard, exactly at head height. The light turned on several times at night as apparently my pillow pushed against it. Very weird place for a light switch.

The room was a bit stuffy as well. The window does open, but it opened to the inner courtyard that often has groups of people sitting and loudly chatting, despite the signs asking for quiet time between 10pm and 7am.

Not the worst place I've stayed at, but I wouldn't visit this hotel again. I'm so glad to be home now and able to have a proper shower!

The room was cleaned and spacious. It was ideal for big family. Good location. Ask for higher floor as it was very noisy in the night and early in the morning. There was no fridge in the room.

Meh. I would skip this hotel. Bad breakfast for 12.5 eur, charged us city tax even though we were on a business trip, harrased us before checking out at 12 even though we had the do not disturb sign on. They don't mark your luggage if you leave it their luggage room so potentially someone else could take your stuff, etc. I guess there is better places.

Extremely bad staff behaviour. Rooms are old looking and floor was also swollen and makes noise when u walk on it. Room 414.
Advise to not use them

Lovely hotel in a great area. Friendly, professional staff. Our room was a great size, comfy bed and tall ceilings, a little noisy as it was at the front of the building, so we asked to be moved. Beautiful breakfast room!
Very good value for the money. Recommend.

Basic and small room. Quite tricky to get our wheelchair to the room. The main building lift was tiny. In the nearby area were several restaurants. Close to a bus stop that goes down to the zoological garden area. The ubahn close by was not wheelchair accessible.
