This Saturday afternoon we experienced a delightful adventure into this packed, local neighbourhood Italian trattoria. You choose from the abundant selection of goodies in the vitrine. We choose a vegetarian eggplant parmigiana lasagne (no pasta) and an octopus salad with some side selections of grilled zucchini and sauteed mushrooms. This arrived at our high table (the only free one left) with glasses of red wine for the day - a blend of San Genovese and Montepulciano. Surrounded by music, laughter, and walls full of wines, food to shop, and lots of football jerseys from Italian teams, we soon became part of the happening and inner landscape. We couldn’t resist takaing some of those goodies away with us. Full of joy, great food and wine, and engaging owners. Much appreciated!
