Great place! As expected the brewed coffee and the cappuccino were super flavourful. The carrot cake is a masterpiece and probably the best one we ever had and the Pastel de nata was a positive surprise. The taste is not very different from the ones you can find in a pastry in Portugal

Today was supposedly the first day of opening again. When we sat down at 12:00, the place wasn’t ready yet, ‘but if we waited 15 minutes, they’d be ready.’ Annoying, but okay.

At 12:30, we were indicated it’d be another ‘5 minutes’, but okay. Then, finally at 12:45 the place opened but only for coffee, even though we had indicated we came for food.

The time we waited, the staff was just standing there and not preparing anything.

Pretty had impression for a first day of opening.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The place is beautifully decorated, the staff was very friendly and the service was fast. I would say the coffee was average but bad. We went for brunch and had the Eggs Benedict and Pancakes. In the case of the Eggs Benedict the homemade jam is delicious and goes well with the brioche and hollandaise sauce. Beautiful presentation and the salad was a very nice touch. The disappointment was on the poached egg, it was over cooked and not runny, why bother poaching an egg if it will be cooked medium hard???
Nevertheless, the pancakes were the greatest disappointment! They were chewy and rubbery as if they Had cooked them quickly at high heat in a pan with a lot of oil... an then they put a hard poached egg on top of it... ????
NO BRUNCH for me at this place ever again. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because the staff and service were good, the place is nice and the Eggs Benedict were not so bad... but I wouldn’t have them again.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I was visiting mid week so it wasn't packed.

Coffee is great and could not fault it. Service can be a little hard to catch, so I don't know how you would go if this place was busy.

Egg Benedict was delicious, however I recommend only taking the small size as the larger one took some kind of appetite to get though.

Would come back here for sure!

Very nice brunch with a good balance of sweet and savory options. "The bomb" - short stack of pancakes with poached eggs, bacon, and coffee infused syrup was really perfect. The poached eggs and the coffee infused syrup were a nice touch that brought a different flavor than the traditional pancakes with syrup. The avocato toast with poached eggs on top is delicious, you can tell the ingredients are all fresh. Mango smoothie was also super on point. Definitely do yourself a favor and go here instead of waiting an hour across the street at ABC for the same menu... You can get Benedict here too ;)

Long waiting times and unfriendly personnel can unfortunately not be compensated by amazing coffee.
After more than one hour of waiting I received one of the most disappointing french toasts I’ve ever had. I also have to admit I’ve expected a bit more from the description on the menu stating “french toast with wild berries”. Instead I received 8 blueberries. And the yoghurt doesn’t even belong to the dish but I ordered it additionally...

Great staff and coffee, the best I've tried in Berlin. It can get really busy sometimes, so your order may take a while. The pancakes (named "the bomb" on the menu) are amazing.

For an extra smile tell them you don't want sugar for the coffee! ????
