Good Austrian restaurant in Friedrichshain. Traditional Austrian dishes, Lederhosen, and even Austrian beer. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The food is good, and prices average. We visited during lunch and the restaurant was not very full. The waiting time (for the food) was average. The Kaiserschmarrn was excellent but it takes about thirty minutes from order to delivery so you might want to order it with the main course order. A good restaurant if you are looking for an authentic schnitzel or other Austrian dishes while in Friedrichshain.

Traditional Austrian resturant. We went on Saturday early evening (6 pm) without a reservation and the staff was so kind and gave us a table (2x + 2 children). Food is very good and the staff is friendly. Service is fast and the price is fair. Try the Winer Schnitzel or Kasespäzel.

Great food for a not so great price ????
Wiener Schnitzel was tasty and big. Dessert was huge and delicious.

We visited Berlin for a few days in July and were recommended to the Mutzenbacher restaurant. We had a delightful meal! The weiner schnitzel was tender and flavorful, as was the chicken schnitzel. The streudel and ice cream were wonderful. There was a good selection of non-meat options. The service was friendly and attentive. And all in a fun, quaint atmosphere in a non-tourist-y part.of town.

Mutzenbacher is definitely worth a visit!

Food was just okay, prices bit too high comparing to quality of food. Very nice interior design

BEWARE! This restaurant gives you sides that you didn’t order and then charges you for them when the check arrives. They then argue with you over the tab.
The food is alright, but not worth what they charge.

Scammy, pricey and only alright.

The restaurant offers Austrian classics like Schnitzel but also a great take on vegetarian and vegan dishes which I really like even I am not vegetarian. Quality food with great ingredients. The staff was professional and polite. I would call the place stylish, I find it more on the alternative side. I will definitely come back.
