The only caveat is that the pork knuckle is so big that it would take a whole family to finish one… and you want to leave room for their dessert ????

Great authentic german pub with friendly service. The tastiest Tartar and Flamkuchen are in here. A wide range of beer and delicious meat dishes. It’s not fancy or hipsterish, but I definitely recommend this place if you want to grab a beer and have a tasty meal.

Nice restaurant. 100 beers to choose.
Soup is great and the Schweinehachse ( grill) is very good.
Waiter don’t speak English but we are able to manage.

-Pre Covid review-
I first came here with some colleagues who said their hamburgers were great, once here immersed in the Bavarian surroundings I could not order a hamburguer.
My favourite was the Nuremberg sausages but they descontinues them last time I visited which was sad.
The service has days, I was never badly treated but my colleagues kind of were(they are South Americans). She makes an effort in English if she sees you are trying to speak German.

The worst service i have ever encountered. We were all speaking our native language, only one of us speaks fluent german, so he communicated with staff in German. That was not enough for them, they had a problem with us speaking our language. So the waitress offered us another round, saying that it would be our last round. Human rights 0, service 0, all in all a big 0. Disappointed eternally.

The waiter was so rude and being racist! She completely ignored us while serving other Germans. I haven’t seen this kind of behavior before and was completely shocked! We had to just leave the restaurant and I think that is exactly what she wanted!
