Great location next to public transport, restaurants and grocery stores, but otherwise feels fairly dated. Rooms look nice enough and modern, but it does not completely offset the fact that building feels old. Air conditioning was very weak and the vents had not been cleaned in some time. There appears to only be one elevator, which creates a traffic bottleneck during busy hours. There is only one electric socket near bed and it is down at floor level, making it bit inconvenient. Room is quiet because of additional door, but watch out for your fingers when opening it to not trap your fingernails between door and mirror frame.

My wife and I came to Berlin for a concert at Zitadelle. The hotel was conveniently located. Very close to good public transport links. It's not overly fancy, but clean and fresh. Staff are really nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

Airconditioning was not working and when I asked reception if the airconditioning does not work, he just said it's not working and will only be repaired on the weekend. I asked for a fan and he said that there were only 6 fans and they have already given them to the other guests. I do not remember hearing an apology for this. Aircon was not working on our first night, so they must have already known at that time. Now on our second night and can't sleep because it's too hot. Opening the window solves the heat problem, but every few minutes you hear the sound of an ambulance siren. Maybe tomorrow night will be different.

The hotel is run down, feels old and dirty, uncomfortable with ac not working, shower floor was so brown looking I didn’t want to use it. On the positive side, good location, good breakfast and friendly staff.

All in all experience was good, breakfast was great, but the hotel rooms definitely require a refurbish as the bathroom facilities and the bedroom carpet was old and savvy.

MERCURE HOTEL IS JUST THE BEST HOTEL EVEEEERRR IN GERMANY!!!

And the service on the breakfast hosted the STUNNING HELGA u0026 LUDMILLA WAS PHENOMENAL!!!!
If haven’t been there, YOU SIMPLY DON’T WHAT. BEAUTIFUL LIFE IS!!!

So, Josh, Sarah, Helga u0026 Ludmilla, UFFFF THE BEST HOSPITALITY I COULD’VE IMAGINED!!!

here was a lady in the Reception desk (long blonde hair, young) when iv arrived. shes said that there was no order and wasnt nice. my door was broken' my room was dirty' she does not wanna come.
i was supposed to come to brlin again and i wont come to ur place beacuse of the bejaviur of thhis staff
