Location layout and design is amazing....very free spirited and very d.i.y. the staff is also very friendly and easy going. It is their bouncers that need a bit of help. One in particular with a short shaved head and Russian accent....he is so obsessed with his job that he over do it with the club policies. Thier club policies is no o e can enter with cellphones on, no cameras, and nothing religious or political so the club ambience is neutral and free for everyone. So, When you come to the door and wear a cross of any sorts ( as a design....this bouncer will argue with you and threatens to throw you out if he catches you. This was my experience and a couple of other's who I know although I was in the club for 3 hours. The drinks are ok.....the people who go here are young, very modern, mostly college students and they are the reason to go because it is a good place to support. That bouncer just needs to relax.

Mensch meier is one of my favorite clubs, great location and people. After corona the ticket prices are quite high but thats understandable

Incredible alternative underground club with large outdoors space. Great venues and atmosphere. Really fun crowd and good music. Friendly staff.

we waited over 2 HOURS in the freezing cold (up to the middle of the line) only to be told there was no entry without a ticket anymore - even though it was advertised on the website that there would be tickets available at the entrance. Could have been a great Saturday night.. :(

Does Mensch Meier even care to inform guests appropriately? We were not the only ones..

The one star is for the music. Big floor had melodic techno then harder stuff. People liked both. Second ("theater") floor is more disco like and also more packed because of it's size. The third floor could need some adjustments, because it feels like its a beer-tent. Although here too the music was good, some electro funk and synth pop sound you hear seldom in Berlin clubs.

That being said, I never really felt well in the club. The atmosphere is somewhat arrogant. Few of the Ladies at the bar are friendly but overall at the door and everywhere else it feels like the people are forced to work there and not because they like the music or the culture. The door is arrogant and unpleasant, makey you feel unwelcomed. It feels like your money pocket is milked by a bunch of far-left political scene guys that hate techno culture and run a club just for making money. That also reflects the prices at bar and door, I mean when an "anti-capitalist" club costs the same as the next bottom-line disco, something doesn't add up.

Bouncer will check if you're German. You will be denied entry if you are not German.
