Great hotel.
The rooms are really clean, not too big but roomy enough.
Everything was just right....enough powersockets, possibilty to make a cup of Coffee or thee.
Location is Great for exploring the city.

They canceled my booking last minute (while I was on the flight to Berlin) and sent me an email saying the credit card had been declined, all while I had no access to WiFi/data. I had used the same card to buy coffee and train ticket to the hotel so I don't understand how the card could have been declined and why the didn't wait until I arrive before giving the room to someone else. This was the worst experience with a "hotel". The guy at the reception said "you canceled your booking by using this card"! No apologies or any offers. He was unbelievably rude... Good introduction and start of a trip to Germany.

Honest review - it's fine. Nothing more, that's for sure. I live in Berlin and just came here because I live above my recording studio and wanted a quiet night, so I know the city well. Geographic location is great - close to the centre, directly in front of the tram, the district of Prenzlauer Berg with all it's bars and restaurants is just round the corner. The exact location is on Greifswalder Strasse, a pretty grubby main road, but head down the side streets and there's lots to discover. The staff are friendly enough by Berlin standards, which means not objectively rude.. Fine, but nothing more, which is ok. It's certainly not the kind of hotel where you expect luxury - there's no took service or any of the stuff you see in the movies it's very basic but does a job. In my experience, a hotel that costs 100 euros a night should certainly feel at least a little luxurious but the room I'm in right now is as basic as it gets - nothing wrong with it at all, but it's like sleeping in the photocopy room of an office from 1992. Breakfast is still off limits due to Corona despite the fact that cafes, bars, restaurants etc are all open. The photo that appears on google looks like a Dubai super hotel but it's actually just a terraced house on a dirty main road. Good for a cheap business trip, if 100 bucks a night is cheap, but definitely nowhere near a "hotel" if you're looking for a relaxing place to feel you're treating yourself. It's called Feng Shui but I can't imagine why as the decor inside is like a waiting room in an early 90s HR department. If it was half the price, it'd be a bargain place if you're looking for a place to sleep but spend no time in. At one hundred euros a night, it's competing with hotels I've been to here that have restaurants, bars, saunas, modern decoration and the feeling of actually wanting to stay there, and it's definitely not more than a place to crash. If you're English, think of a room above a Little Chef in Basildon and you'll get the picture. Nothing overtly bad, but definitely not what I would call a hotel if I was the owner.

Cute little hotel with basic rooms and friendly service. be warned that in summer these rooms do not have any air conditioning or a fridge to cool drinks down.

Location is fantastic and super easy to jump on a tram to head in to the centre of town. There is a few coffee shops and bars that are a short walk from this location also.

I found this hotel to be well equipped and located for my purposes, my work place at Gendarmenmarkt was 5 km removed, easily navigable by Lime scooter or public transport. The room was bordering on cramped with only 14 square meters, not allowing for involved yoga exercises, I did manage somehow eventually, however the bed more than made up for that. Good mattress and comforter. Indeed, as said in other reviews, the lack of airco makes for a stuffy atmosphere, but that is fixable by opening the window at the draft setting, giving a small twist of the window handle without opening the window frame. The bathroom comes with the basics, although it looks a bit old and used, it is nonetheless squaky clean. The interior parking has space for a few vehicles, but the entrance is a cramped horror, had to fold the outer mirrors and drive at a snail pace to be able to enter the lot. There are plenty restaurants to be found nearby, as well as a late night shop or two for snacks and things. All in all a good address for a short stay in town, very good value, I stayed five nights for not even 50 euros per night without breakfast (plenty breakfast places around for the same rate). Nice visit.

Inexpensive and clean enough, friendly staff and internet is good enough. However the bathroom is too small (while sitting on the toilet my legs hit the door so I had to use it with the door open), and the bed too short (I’m 185cm). It feels a place for midgets.
