So I went there in order to get my full on afro lightened. Like, blonde, proper blonde. Ash blonde. Many hairstylists in Berlin told me it wouldn't be possible in one go, not even with Olaplex (the only reason I decided to try blonde again).
But when I walked into maske berlin to have a talk and meet the stylist before booking an appointment I was met by a super friendly woman, Julia, who was honest about her experience with cutting Afro hair. She never did it but was super excited to work it out together with me.
In the end, I made an appointment when Julia wasn't there but Andrea, the owner, worked on my hair and listened to my wishes. I was a bit nervous in between, thinking, oh there's still so much dark hair left.. We decided to go for streaks (which I regretted for one second). It did take a few minutes to get used to the outcome. But now I am really really happy and content with the outcome. Before I was able to rock the natural look, no make up on and all, but now with the blonde mane of mine, it's back to shocking people and I am glad I made the choice and went to maske berlin! Good research pays off and they definitely know how to work color!! My absolute favorite!

The only place in Berlin that can touch my hair. They are the absolute professionals. I would only know about this place as I work in the film industry and they are THE trusted place for Babelsberg. Fluent in both German and English
