Great atmosphere of a warm European brassiere with an older crowd. The food is a little too simple for my taste but the restaurant is a good choice if you are looking for a local comfortable atmosphere. The service is kind but not very organized.

Lubitsch is a Berlin institution - excellent German cuisine. Very professional waiters and a great location. Definitely recommend trying it out. They have a lunch menu during the week - otherwise it’s kind of a place you’d ‘go out’ to.

Food was not bad, but inconsistent. Goat cheese salad set the expectations quite high. Main dishes unfortunately didn't meet them. The levant chicken had a pleasant, original taste (but nothing gmore), but the schnitzel was a total disappointment. The glasses of wine were of good quality, although a bit pricy (7-9e).
Had to wait u003e2 hours after arrival to get the main dishes.

The biggest issue was the EXTREMELY LOUD surrounding. The average age of visitors is around 70 and seems like many of them have hearing issues. Also the place is popular for big family events and gatherings. The restaurant was full of such big loud groups on Friday evening, making it impossible for two people to have a comfortable conversation over the table.

My wife and I went in for a meal on 3 October and from the off, we were impressed with the professionalism of the staff. The restaurant was extremely busy.
I wanted to try German cuisine and thoroughly enjoyed a plate of Konigsburger Klopse and my wife had Steak Frietes, we followed this with homemade cheesecake and pannacotta. The food was delicious and service was efficient and friendly.
We recommend this establishment highly

The first thing I'll do after the lockdown is going to Lubitsch.
can't wait. LOVE! my FAVE restaurant in Berlin! Must go! Never disappoints.

Excellent restaurant.ELEGANT. Better than high quality food home made cannot be found in Berlin for half price of other high quality places. Its a must be. You'll enjoy it.
