Best Ethiopian food I've ever had, and it's already usually great. Full of flavour, spicy, healthy and has awesome vegan and non-vegan options.

Keep in mind, I think it was cash only, and you're going to be eating with your hands - I felt this created a more intimate sharing atmosphere, which is enhanced by the small and cozy interior, but not for every occasion.

Friendly and patient service, we don't speak German but it was handled fine. Prices are quite cheap as well and portions are large.

Nice little Ethiopian restaurant with a lovely intimate atmosphere. The food took a while to arrive, but it was so worth the wait. Tasty and an explosion of flavours! They have several vegan dishes with lentils and cheek peas that are really delicious. It’s recommended to book in advance since the place is not so big.

Definitely one of the best Ethiopian restaurants I've ever tried. The place is small, warm and welcoming and the staff is very kind. Food is amazing: the meat and the spices are married in theese dishes. The chef is really a magician????.
Thanks for the hospitality. I'll be back very soon

Friendly staffs, very good meat+veggies and chicken+veggies combos. Many different sauces/spices that were tasty. Prices were increased (€12.9 to €14) but still okay. We ordered two combos and it was served on a big tray/plater.

Don't ask for utensils and use your hands for a complete experience.

The food was very delicious. But the restaurant was really tiny and waiting for +1h after ordering made it not perfect. Nevertheless, if you have time and like to enjoy the experience to eat with hands, you should definitely try it.

Nice ambient with authentic food (as far as I can judge)!

At Lalibela you can enjoy delicious Ethiopian delicacies. If you go alone or with a group, I can recommend the share plate with all sorts of dishes to try and explore the awesome cuisine of Ethiopia. It’s salty, meaty but also fresh. It’s a light guilty pleasure comfort food :D!

Btw. Don’t be shy and use your hands and the bread provided. You can easily clean your hands before and after the meal in a small bathroom. All in all the food is great. The location isn’t very special but overtrumped by the food.

Funny and tasty. The mixed big dishes are eaten with the hands. They are very nice. a bit pricy but you get full. It is a bit ????. But i would repeat.
