Although the espresso was excellent, the beef stuffed potatoes smothered in tomato sauce was AMAZINGLY DIVINE!!! Not to mention the delectably delicious pickled eggplant! The homemade baklava was distinctly Syrian. All of this Middle Eastern fair was prepared by a Syrian immigrant working for her son who owns the place and treats his guests like royalty (right down to the high backed chairs in the corner). As you can see from the presentation of the stuffed potatoes, the proprietor knows the meaning of the Arab maxim “the eye also eats.”
