We went here relatively spontaneous to have dinner.
Atmosphere 4/5
The place is beautiful to sit outside- especially under the trees. Our table was under an umbrella, which was a bit dark, they could have closed the umbrellas. There was no more sun hitting the outside area. It is also quite loud, so be aware of that.
Food 4/5
For food we had two starters the eel sandwich and the iberico pork both were delicious. Only thing that was a bit weird, were the nori chips with the pork, they did not fit the dish. For mains we had the ribs. The ribs themselves were good and tender. The sauce was also good however it overpowered everything else. I wish they would have included a bit more of the sides. The parnshnip puree dots were tiny. For dessert we had the apricot semifreddo. Overall composition was nice, however the apricot semifreddo itself barely tasted of apricots.
Service 3/5
Service started out nice. Our waiter however soon started to become too pushy. Apparently it was not enough to eat 3 courses, have a drink and water?! His friendliness also seemed a bit fake. When we asked for the bill, we didn't receive it for 20 minutes. So we had to ask someone else and the bill arrived 1 minute later. We only left a small tip, because with tips we honour good service. This apparently insulted our original waiter so much, that he didn't even say bye. After all his friendliness was really fake. So all in all, more professional service personnel would be highly appreciated - especially in the overall context of offering quite expensive small dishes / trying to be a fancy restaurant.
