Clean place, good breakfast. We had the only room without curtains and they are currently working on that. The inn itself is quiet, but the road is a bit noisy. If only it had a kitchen, cause there is no facility to cook properly (Except a boiler for tea and a couple of plates). The staff is nice, but the showers are badly designed. It's like everything is just a bit off but it's nothing that would make it a bad place to sleep in.

Nice hostel - very good free brekkie, nice staff, spacious dorm, large lounge, comfy bed, plenty of shared baths. Bring your own bed sheets or rent them for 3€ per stay. No kitchen but a very good Asian restaurant across the street with 7 euro entrees (Mai Linh). Tip: the hostel is on 2 busy streets, so ask for a room facing the courtyard to avoid the road noise.

A bad experience.

I stayed at this hostel for one night, (booked two, but we missed the first one 9/7 - 10/7). At first glance it seemed nice. Took about 30 minutes to get to Potsdamer Platz, and I thought I had payed a faire price for the room (51 € for two nights). Upon our arrival the receptionist told us we had only paid for a one person room. The receptionist tells us that the only way to solve this is by paying a additional 40 € for the other person to be able to sleep In the room I had already booked. If not she wouldn’t be allowed to sleep in my room. Besides this inconvenience the receptionist didn’t seem to understand a bit of what I tried to communicate. Don’t recommend this place to anyone.

A good place to stay if you don't mind commuting to and from the city for roughly 30-40mins (15mins one way and back). Nice, helpful staff. We unfortunately stayed at a time when we had very noisy teens so sound travels. Showers were hot and spacious. Breakfast was adequate but not for people who are vegan or vegetarian (I am neither but it is very meat and cheese heavy). There was an Aldi opening up around the corner when we stayed and a McDonalds for the fast food addicts. It would be ideal for any traveller.

Excellent breakfast and 24/7 tea bar. Security is not the greatest. My door doesn't lock from the inside and it takes extra effort to latch it. The included sheets and breakfast are great though!

No airconditioner or fan in the room. Hard to fall asleep in summer.
No shelf in the showering space so can only put your stuff on the floor and hang your clothes on the wall outside the curtain. But for 3 showering rooms there are only 2 hooks.

Clean place. Nice staff. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Location is bit far from the centre of Berlin but at least near the railway. Good for a low price.
