Great view across the outer Wannsee and towards the beach. There is small kiosk and some seats where you can get a beer, an ice cream or in winter a Gluehwein. There is an info board explaining the history of the Lion and the Prussian-Danish war. Close by there are 3 restaurants, toilets are available at the Seehase (down the steps from the kiosk) and parking. For more history the Wannsee Conference house is next door or a few minutes walk away the Liebermann Villa. A great place to start a walk along the river as far as Glienicke Bridge. The 112 and 116 buses connect both places to Wannsee Station.

The view and the general area are very nice. What takes away from that experience a bit for me is that the little store there seems to attract 'interesting' people. Don't get me wrong, they don't look dangerous or anything, but some people that hang around there are likely intoxicated, a few of them potentially are all day long. I guess it's something you wouldn't notice or care about at all in the more crowded city, but I do notice when I come here.

Splendid view at Wannsee Lake. Very next to the House of the Wannsee Conference !

Historical Landmark and a fantastic view. There is a cozy Bierklause near by where you can rent boats to have fun on the Wannsee. Liebermann House is near by.

Nice holiday season location with sailing clubs, boat rentals, tiny beaches, and great view to the other side with Strandbad Wannsee.
