Trueitalian festival weekend aperitivo was worth it.
The pizza unfortunately absolutely disappointing, more a flammkuchen than a pizza ????
And when you read on the menu “Parmiggiana” you can immediately understand it is not an Italian place…

Best pizza in town. Especially buffalina. The dough is so delicious that you want to order something not so packed.

I came all the way here during the "true Italian" event. The waiter told us almost whispering at our hear while he was going to smoke a cigarette and without looking at the eyes in a very rude way that pizza was sold out 3h before they close. Not coming back, thanks

The pasta was really nothing special. People writing it's the best they've had, haven't had a good Italian pasta. The service is near minimum and the waiter spoke down on us for not knowing German. No English menu and the waiter did not show any enthusiasm to translate the menu, he even claimed that the menu is in Italian. Wine list is nothing to talk about and they only had the German light beer. Tortellini is not worth even the 9€... Bland riccota and spinach is flavorless. Might be frozen and then heated. The bathroom was really dirty. The olive oil was the only good Italian in there. Do not recommend for more than a fast lunch. Also not good for big groups that don't know German.

This place far exceeded our expectations. We sat outside on a perfect evening after spending the day u0026 sunset in Victoria Park. The wines were lovely, the cheeses for appetizers were sophisticated, the salad was super fresh, and the pizza was what we were craving. We can't vouch for the pasta yet, but we hope to return soon to try other things. We're new residents of Rote Insel and so far we're starting to find some great places. Thank you, In Cibus!

Restaurant with potential but struggle with consistency. We went in Summer to eat there and had delicious Carbonara, unfortunately the service was a disaster and made us feel very uncomfortable.
This time, we came back to experience the Carbonara again. The service this time was great, but the 4 of us found the pasta very disappointing in term of quantity and taste. Nothing compared to the one we had in Summer. Still, the pizza was nice and had great taste.
Because we live close by, we tried in overall 5 times and always came back home a bit disappointed. For the price they ask, you can find a better in the area.

As italian i think the pizza is below average, really high prices and the service also didn't wow us. I can't recommend it for anyone who really knows Italian food, just another tourist spot...
