The hotel is somewhat outdated, but my room was large and comfortable, so nothing to complain about. Great location, plenty of different cafes and shops in the neighbourhood.
My check-in was a later one, so keep in mind that they close reception at 22:00 and a later check-in needs to be agreed on beforehand.
Also, the elevator wasn’t functional, and at the entrance, there’s a very long staircase that looks absolutely majestic, but isn’t the most convenient when it comes to heavy luggage you need to carry.
Also, the doors to the room are very old, so I heard every step and word from the corridor.

This hotel is very nice for me. i would like to recommend. It's Perfect location only about 10 mins to the main station with S-Bahn . Very nice bar, restaurant Cafe or shopping place are not so far from the hotel.
We were so surprised since we were check-in until check-out. The staffs are so friendly and very helpful. The hotel it's look old but there is so clean and smell so clean. At first, i thought my room will smell old and smokey from cigarettes but not at all ???? i was very happy about it .

There is a housekeeper cleaning our room everyday which is i was so surprised and very happy about that????**only a little part is not so perfect is the toilet keep running the water so we have to push it again to make it stop some noise.
But all the rest super good.

If I'm going to Berlin again Vivaldi will be my first choice ????

We asked for a new set of towels. The lady said yes but it never happened. And worst of all: Toilet seat dirty at check-in. Totally unprofessional.. Do yourself a favor and book another hotel or even hostel.

Old hotel, kept clean. Spacious rooms, but beds are too soft for my liking. Pillows are big and flat as pancakes. They should provide some firm pillows on request. Not all rooms are as nice as the pictures. Some have retro looking boiler or heater in room. Good breakfast spread.

Older hotel with some charme. My room was super small. Bed was also very small and kind of uncomfortable, after 2 days my back hurt and i also didn't sleep well. This hotel is okay for short stays. Prices are just average.

The room was tiny as a shoe-box, in the moment you get into the lobby you are immediately bombed with the smell of cigarettes. I constantly heard the people in the floor above me walking, the walls are way to thin.
Seriously? I slept in youths-hostels that had a higher level than this.
