The hotel is in a good location, with easy access to public transport. Rooms are of agreeable quality. The in-house elevator was unfortunately shut down for renovation during our stay. The hotel also offers breakfast at an extra cost, which we did not take. There are a couple of good breakfast cafes close by as well.

No lift so be prepared to walk up 3 or 4 floors with your luggage. The carpets haven't been cleaned in ages and the corridor between bathrooms and rooms is totally disgusting also off course the bathrooms. Covid is the last of your worries.

Nice and friendly staff, good location near the centre and in a wealthy shopping area. The building itself where the hotel is located is going through a massive refurbishment so builders are working from very early in the morning. The room are small and the bathroom not very moder. However it is all truthful to what we have seen prior to booking. If travelling on a budget then it's a good option it also has early check-in which is very helpful.

The standarsroom was very basic, it was clean but there was no fridge or no coffee/tea corner in the room. So if you want something to drink you must go out. That's not convenient with a toddler. The staff was very good, kind and helpful. If you need anything just ask them. At the moment they are renovating the hotel, can't wait to see the end result. I have high expectations

The hotel looked really old first as the stairway was creaky and long. The room however was really clean and simply, with a nice modern shower but an old style toilet. The room was very comfortable and was provided with both heater and a fan. The staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel was very good, 5-10 minutes away from a big train station, restaurants and shopping streets.

The hotel was under heavy renovation when we were there (25/6-28/6 2020) which would be ok if we had been informed and maybe got a big discount. But we weren't. Booked the hotel because of the green garden shown in the pictures but this was all cut down and a big crane was there in stead. The breakfast the first morning was at a cafe near by and the other two mornings at the hotel which really was so so. Friendly staff and quiet in the night.

Clean, comfortable, and friendly. WiFi works well. Easy access to public transport via 249 bus around the corner. Classic German breakfast is well worth paying for. Impressive old building with marble staircase and creaky floors. Overall a very nice German-style budget hotel.
