Honestly, I don't have anything to complain about my personal experience in the hotel. I slept there for four nights together with my classmates; we went to Berlin from Italy a few weeks ago. The organized trip had breakfast and dinner reserved for us; everything I ate was good. The cook that served us the food was nice and kind; when one of my classmates had an ache on her leg, the cook kindly gave her a bag of ice for her leg.
The bar connecting the hotel was welcoming when two of my classmates and I went for the first time during the last night of our stay in the hotel; there were a few people talking between each other surrounded by the music in the playlist of the bar. A guy even played a great jazz improvisation with his electronic keyboard.
The room I was in together with three of my classmates wasn't of any problem to me. Sure, the door lock seemed like it was forced once, but it didn't cause us any problem since the door still closed correctly. The water jet in the shower was probably one of the best I've ever encountered (if you aren't used to having high pressure of the water in the shower). The beds were comfortable. The pillow was interestingly shaped but it was still alright to sleep in with, I didn't have any problems with it.
Probably everyone of my classmates complained about the food, but I never found any bad thing to say about the food at all; just that it was nice and it made me feel home.
--IN OTHER WORDS-- Your stay in the hotel is going to be good if you aren't attached to a specific kind of life, traditions and food. It is going to be alright if you already feel comfortable with some two star hotels you may have visited and/or if you are used to simpler things.
