The location of the hotel is great. Very close to the city center and close to a lot of coffee shops and restaurants.
However, the hotel is very old, the furniture is a bit rusty and the cleaning is not great (there was a paper with blood between our beds).
We also had the bad luck to have a room in the roof so the room reached 33 degrees inside without air conditioner, that made very difficult to sleep at night even if the temperatures outside where lower, because the room was still hot.
To end, the breakfast is really expensive. There are many many coffee places close to the hotel with great sweet and salty treats to have a complete breakfast.

Fabulus. Friendly reception. Spotless airy and silent room. Jut a few yards from station river and cafes .

Small, clean room with renovated bathroom, but the building is old overall with a untrustworthy elevator and malfunctioning of the room locks. I feel that I paid too much.

Pros: price, pretty cheap. Location, excellent. Showers and toilet were very good. Cleanliness! It was very clean we stayed 4 nights total and the room was cleaned each morning whilst we went out.

Negatives: 2 single beds pushed together rather than one double and the headboard has a bit of wood coming towards you making it uncomfortable. 1 pillow each that was supremely soft so it was like almost laying flat on the bed, I appreciate its personal preference but I'd have preferred 2 pillows. THE TV HAD NO REMOTE, ok this is the main problem, we looked everywhere and couldn't find one. It's possible we missed it but the TV was just speaking German radio and we couldn't turn it off. In the end I disconnected the plug.

Neither positive or negative: hotel seemed empty, maybe it's because its November and you also have to check in across the road which is strange.

Excellent position, but rooms small and bed not comfortable. High price.

I booked a room last year with free cancellation as I was not sure about the travel. After I cancelled, I found out that they charged my creditcard 150 Euro. The booking website wrote me I have to contact the hotel but the hotel did not respond to my phone call nor email.

If you need a cheap place to sleep in Berlin here you go. All you need for a very reasonable price. Located just in downtown, 10 minutes walk from the Brandenburg Gate. Room is new. Facade was under construction at the time I stayed so the check in was at the hotel across the street. Neat and cozy hotel for a night and a shower. I paid $70 and believe it is excellent price for the quality and location.
