It's more of a student hostel turned to a dorm, just with painted walls. No attached bath, conjugated rooms no proper air circulation (very big issue during summers), No proper lockers available, unclean floor premises.

Kitchen and dining area is available which is enough. A bit far from main city where we have to pick a 20-30min ride in Public transport.

It's very pricey for these facilities in Berlin. A lot to be improved.

I witnessed the agresive owner intimidating young ladies, screaming at them in german(because he doesn’t speak english) in a simple misunderstanding situation. The affected girl answer kindly he must lower his voice, and he didn’t stop. Nevertheless, the most noticiable thing is the poor quality infrastructure, terrible beds and depressive and strange atmosphere. Spend a few euros more and go to other one, and not this rat(bugs) hole.

I must admit when I saw the outside I was worried about what I was going to find inside. But the management are very friendly, the beds are in a much better condition than most hostels I have been in. They go out of their way for their guests. You definitely get what you pay for. It is a hostel, and not a hotel. But I've been in several budget hostels, and this one is really not bad. I did get several unidentified bites on my legs during my sleep. I suspect it might be from a small spider as I did not see any bed bugs and the room was very clean.

Loved the atmosphere there and the people. Great vibes and friendly people. The House Gardian likes Rolling Stones and can jive and do the rock's.

I had lots of heavy bags and got zero help on arrival. Dirty bathroom and bedrooms, and very cramped spaces. Other people had bedbugs. Older male employee is rude, aggressive and often drunk. My worst experience of accommodation ever. Definitely avoid especially if you’re a female travelling alone.

The worse experience ever! It had bed bugs! The receptionist was rude and racist. There where cockroaches everywhere in the kitchen! I kid you not it was awful.

Cons:
No cable network on TV
No wifi in our room section for the 2 days spent there.
No good entry signs. Very hard to locate how to get into the hostel the first day.
Toilets for each room outside the rooms / small though, does the job.

Pros:
Quiet environment
Clean environment
Good beds
Good and strict receptionist - Mr Ralf
Directly opposite Bus station, close to Ubahn and Sbahn
