Beautifully presented and delicious new German cuisine. We had the four course menu (one meat u0026 fish, the other vegetarian) and perfectly matched wines. Great service too - attentive, friendly and helpful. Loved dining here.

Excellent food! Super fresh and local products, simple but cosy and classy atmosphere, and lovely welcome. If you are not too extreme about meat, you will still find something. Also impress wine menu from all over Germany.

i never actually sat here, i only came because of "too good to go". first of all, it's really nice that they participate in that program. second, the food i got was always so good. the staff was also always friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant seemed nice. i will come here for real someday.

Good food and very good wine tasting. Service war friendly and well informed especially about the wines, however also served the wine before I was done with the aperitif. Overall solid but slightly too expensive for what you get.

Top marks for service, creativity, atmosphere, and of course the concept of wasting nothing. Perhaps a couple of dishes are still in the works. One star deducted because the wine pairing was quite expensive, with rather frugal pours, and only about half the wines seemed well-paired.

The "Herz u0026 Niere" serves rich German cuisine at Fichtestrasse 31, 10967 Berlin, in the district of Kreuzberg, on the border to Neukölln. The operators Michael Köhle and Christoph Hauser have learned their craft in top gastronomy and offer daily changing surprises in the "Herz u0026 Niere", which deliberately processes all parts of the animal. There is a menu with or without innards, as a fish menu or vegetarian. The restaurant's restaurant is simply decorated and discreetly decorated. In the summer you can also eat your food in the spacious front garden. The Fichtestrasse is one of the lively connections between the Volksspark Hasenheide and the pubs and cafés around Diefenbachstraße. The "Herz u0026 Niere" can be reached by public transport via the Südstern subway station and a short walk to the Volkspark.
