This is my second visit. I had the schnitzel the first time. This time round, I had the fried chicken. Simply great beer and food!

What a gem! So "simple" and yet so precise!
Been here twice, ordered the Schnitzel, pork shoulder, Parfait, and Kaiserschmarrn (sliced pancake).

Everything was made to perfection, classic and delicious ???? wine and coffee were also good.

The atmosphere was quiet and casual, the service was charming, big portions, and good prices for this top quality (€30-35). I will definitely come back on my next Austria-craving :)

Tip for English speakers: check out the (online) German menu, not only the English one. It contains more options, easily understandable with Google Translate.

I have been craving the good old classic: „Schnitzel with Spargel“ for a while now but I didn‘t quite know where I should go. But then I remembered this little place I walked past the other day and my mind was set. A quick and friendly email exchange with Tom later, me and my friends had our table. We all got a Schnitzel - obviously! - and actually liked it so much to also recommend it to bypassers who turned into new guests. ???? As a little beer friend I really appreciated the matching vessels for the beers. ???? All in all we had a lovely time. Give Tom a chance and stop by for a relaxed evening (this is a great corner to people watch ????) with delicious food. ????????

Friedrichs Wirtschaft is a true culinary gem in Friedrichshain.
It offers austrian and frankonian cruisine at its best.
Small eating menu, nice drinking menu.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
You should book a table in advance as this great eating place is understandably quite busy.
Give it a shot, you won't regret it.

Small menu (which is a sign of a good restaurant) and good cuisine. Not cheap (especially the wines) but it’s worthy the money. Also a cozy and tasteful interior, and friendly service.
