I enjoyed eating from here on two separate occasions. First was takeaway followed by eating in the restaurant. Their Mexican dishes are very good, not necessarily purely Tex/Mex, but more of Tex/Mex with a German twist.

The burgers are also great and I highly recommend this place.

Yes it does not have the best decorated or located place but based on taste of the food, the best in Altstadt Köpenick. Try quesadilla with chicken, you won’t regret

We were very disappointed. At the entrance we were scolded for looking for a free table instead of asking the staff if they could find something for us. However, we decided to stay. Everything took a long time. We were approached by a waitress who smelled very strongly of alcohol, which may to some extent explain her rude behavior (including touching us, which was probably meant as a friendly gesture, but it made us feel quite awkward).
Even though we knew right away what we wanted to order, we were not allowed to place our food order along with our drink order. We had to order drinks first, wait for them to bring them to us (after a long time), then wait for our order to be picked up at a neighboring table, and then we were graciously allowed to order our meals. I have never felt so strange in any restaurant.
The burrito itself was tasty, although for some reason we got one portion with rice and one without (we ordered the same thing twice). In the end, we waited a long time for the bill, and when we managed to pay, we were relieved to leave the restaurant.

We were searching for a Mexican restaurant when we were in Berlin and decided to drive to El Loco. What a great place! Good, fresh food!
Really nice service, we were late but nothing was a problem. Very nice people, the owner cooks himself and is very kind, stands behind his food.
The nacho's with the home made cheese sauce is realy good. We ordered quesadilla, Enchilada and Burritos as main course and was realy good.
If you visit Berlin and want to eat Mexican? Go to El Loco!!!!!!

Really nice, warm and friendly people
We have to drive a bit extra , but it was for sure worth it!! The food was deliiiiicious! You cann’t miss de nacho sauce , all was really perfect!????????

While El Loco isn’t quite Tex-Mex or even Mexican, it’s close and it’s good food. We ended up going here after we tried to eat somewhere else, because the other restaurant closed early. The food is good and the ambiance is also nice. The staff are friendly and playful. We enjoyed our evening and even bought a bottle of their house hot sauce to take home. We’ll definitely visit again.
