Dubenkropp is a charming chocolate shop in what feels like an old soda shop. The woman who served us was so friendly, sweet and helpful. The small batch chocolates are all made in house, and the love and skill that goes into them are evident. Highly recommend stopping by Dubenkropp for a chocolate break when exploring Berlin.

This place was recommended to me by a friend, although she said it had been sold. I purchased 12 pieces of chocolate and expected a nice box, like I saw posted above counter. Instead, I got a simple plastic bag. I wanted to pay with a credit card, but they could not accept it. Then they asked me for smaller change, which I reluctantly turned over, since I wanted to use it for transportation costs. I gifted the chocolate so I have no idea of taste. The flavors sounded nice!

Hands down the best ice cream I've had in Berlin, you can really taste the flavours of the ingredients coming through. Only 8 choices of ice cream to choose from but 8 exquisite flavours nonetheless.

Was asked to pay for coffee and leave. It's the kind of place you should check out when you have little to no love for humankind and chocolate as well. Overpriced chocolate bars, although I must say expresso was actually good.

Excellent bonbons, especially the Orient -- the ganache is flavored with Ras el Hanout, a Moroccan spice blend.

Handmade chocolates, elegant yet welcoming ambiance and the owner is absolutely charming. Perfect morsel of luxury indulgence in the middle of a busy day.
