Best place in Prenzlauer for a drink and great energy! And the Sunday quiz is the best every. I would also just go for the manager Tom and he makes the best Gu0026Ts.

My absolute favourite bar in Helmholtzkiez, if not in all of Berlin! Lovely hangout spot for a chilled out beer on a Tuesday, as well as THE spot for good cocktails in the neighborhood (don't miss out on their whiskey sour!!). And the staff are all absolutely lovely. It really feels like my home away from home... ❤️ Also, don't miss the Dirty Velvet pub quiz every other Sunday, it's great!

I don't know whether the bartender from yesterday was also the owner as he claimed, but he was extremely rude. Firstly he was working sooo slowlyyyy, then he was so pretentious..we waited for 10minutes just to point us to a table (because none of them were cleared and had glasses from previous customers). And the bar wasn't even full... When I told him that he can be nicer and kinder since we are customers he told me and my friend that he can point us to another bar and of course at that point we left...discusting behaviour and it is a pity because the times I've been before the other employees have always been super nice.

Doesnt take card payments and was followed to cash point upon learning this. Also very dark(which I didn't mind) but when I couldnt see the toilets without my glasses I was rudely asked do I need Google maps to find it! Will not be back!

Great atmosphere, lovely people, fantastic service and delicious drinks. Love the all day happy hour on Wednesdays ;) Definetly become a firm Berlin favourite.

Dirty Velvet is the kind of bar you want in your home town. Friendly bartenders who make sure that everyone who visits the bar is also lovely. Come here, have a reasonably priced drink, and make friends!
