The staff was super friendly and the hostel is very well located. There’s a nice lounge area if you have to do home office. The elevators don’t always work so if you have luggage that’s something to think about. Also, there is no air conditioning.

After reading the many 5-star reviews, I was disappointed overall. The rooms were not cleaned daily, and the bathrooms were not clean and there was a lack of toilet paper. Plus, there was never anyone in reception even though the sign said there would be. Saying that, my friend did ring the number a number of times, and they were able to help her out. A pity, some of the guest could not follow the 22:00 quiet time and treated the place like a hostel with slamming doors and running up and down the corridor.

I booked the hotel for 3 nights, it was absolutely not worth the money. there was no staff in the whole hostel even at the reception. if you arrived earlier it is impossible to leave your suitcase at the hotel. the showers were dirty and the lounge is always closed, we didn't see any coffee or kitchen at all

1. None of guests could enter the building after 11pm, so if you plan tasting Berlin’s night life - stick away. :( 2. We got a room with an old lock and we didn’t get any help when our key and all our belongings stuck in a room. We were left alone with no money, phone, etc. As a result we were forced to “sleep” first night on the floor in a uncomfortable shared space. There was no single employee in the hostel to solve issues. They informed us via phone that they don’t have a spare key. They didn’t care we have no place to sleep :( They found some key duplicate in the morning, couldn’t that be done 10 hours earlier? 3. No receptionists during working hours.

The hostel is really affordable, clean and pretty well decorated. I was really impressed by the sound isolation as you cannot hear what's going on in the street and sleep like a baby! The bed are comfortable, the bathroom well design and the room classy. It's worthy and I will return whenever I can. Oh and the 2 ladys from the reception are really nice and provide a lot of explanation and tips.

A horrible experience.... no staffs, and I couldn’t sleep over night????around 3,4 am I heard very loud sounds from disco party. In addition, the room is too hot so that I was awake over 6am as the sun came out.

Awful customer service - NO STAFF ON SITE at any time. Our door were broken and a key stuck inside a room. No one was willing to help Us so we had to sleep on the floor for one night! This is unacceptable! You can't enter the building after 11pm so say bye bye to Berlin at Night. Noisy.
