I loved the place, the neighborhood and the environment. We were there having a drink and it was very nice, place to repeat again.

Middle if the Turkish sector just a surreal place to visit knowing that my "hero" had lived there for two years and wrote some of his finest work there

I'm from Berlin and was 5 years old when Bowie was in Berlin ???? seeing the building that his flat was in was great, the plaque is a nice touch. We even managed to sneak into the stair hall (Treppenhaus) of the building! Shame it doesn't tell you which flat Bowie and Iggy Pop lived in. The bar that he used to frequent is lovely, Am Anderen Ufer. The barmaid was really friendly. My highlight was chatting to an elderly lady who was passing telling us she remembers seeing Bowie walking around in a dress and high heels and how exotic he looked.????????????

He was living here from 1976 to 1978;
You can’t go inside, but feels still amazing just standing outside.

I have passed this so many times without noticing. It is not a museum, it just honors Bowie by a small plaque. There is always a flower and candle which I feel is really beautiful. RIP
