This is a cheap oriental restaurant very close to Freie University. Prices are low and on Saturday there is a 20% discount. Nonetheless they are still not adequate to the quality which I consider very low. The place is cash only and with only outdoor seating. I will not come back.

Good, cheap take out noodle joint popular with the university crowd for lunch. They have some outdoor seating and an awning for rain. Nothing fancy but they do serve beer.

I really don't get people complaining because the place is dirty or the food is not Nouvelle Cousine. It's a cheap Vietnamese place next to uni, and the food is really great for the price they offer! Actually, it's much better than the food from the canteen, most days. I've eaten here regularly for months and I've been healthy and good, I don't think there should even be a need to write that. I've eaten inside a few times and looked at how they cook, and I've found it very ok.
The classic noodle box is great, and I suggest to try the slightly more expensive variant with fried chicken on days in which you need a boost ????!
On a negative note - unfortunately the fried chicken with peanut sauce, usually my favorite at Vietnamese restaurants, is really not that good here! Too little chicken, and the sauce is too liquid.

Best Vietnamese Cuisine around Dahlem Dorf area. Quite popular for students, because of food quality, taste, warm behavior of the staffs, and reasonable price. Every Saturday there is offer on food price. Open until 8 p.m during winter and 9 p.m during summer. Best dish I would say the Green Duck curry with rice. There are other choices for starters and main dish also. A good variety of noodles and rice dishes you can expect there. Guten Apateit . (if you liked the review please press the like button).
