The most pleasant and kind-hearted staff you could imagine, great food and drinks, and a separate smokers' lounge -- Schmitts has it all.
Great for a quick drink or bite, but equally cozy enough to spend hours chatting to friends. Simply splendid!

Very good breakfasts here, something for everyone. I tried the 'Full English', was great with all the usual sausage, egg, bacon etc. No hash browns or black pudding, but this is Friedrichain, not a truckers cafe on an dual carriageway in Birmingham, so you get melon, grapes and some green leaves instead! Never had green stuff and fruit on a Full English, but I liked it and it's the closest thing you are going to get to Full English in this area of Berlin. The Coffee and warm bread are great too.

Overall cozy, quite place. Tea was quite nice, coffee was ok. Lady over the counter was friendly and helpful. They also have their own salad, which is, let's say, "unique" :)

Very cozy place, great attitude and service. Had to work for a few hours on my laptop during a weekday, no problem. Coffee hour gave a hot drink and piece of cake for 4,20. The schnitzel looked lekker.

Just finished a great 4 hour lunch. It was great. Excellent schnitzel, service and tequila. Very reasonable prices for the quality and comfort. Highly recommended cafe bar in the area.

I love going here. Great food and good beer. Nice and polite service too. Good neighborhood place. I'll keep going back for more

Wonderfull place! Been here a couple of times a year apart, always nice and service minded staff! A must if you're in the area!
