(Veg) food in German homemade style was good, but the waiter seemed to be in a bad mood. No matter how good food is, if the service is moody and bossy, the atmosphere is ruined! This was lunchtime. I've been here before in the evening and we had good service, so might try again.

Refused service three times already on “technical difficulties”. Each time other tables full and people being served so I assume either I am being discriminated against, for unknown reasons, or the guys simply ditch new customers once “too many” are there. Will def not try again.

I really don't like this restaurant. I've been now half a dozen times always at the suggestion of friends. I find half the things on the menu just not very appealing. Whatever I have ordered has been edible but not much more than that. I ordered some cod last time and asked that it not be overcooked. It came out fine though with no additional spicing, so it was quite bland. What I did not appreciate was the snide comment from the waiter when I made my request. Surely better to ask when ordering than make a scene when the meal is brought? Different people like their fish at different grades of doneness. Or does the waiter believe the chef should make that decision? In a top flight restaurant maybe, but not at Lili Marleen.

The location is perfect and the food is good—not amazing, but always fresh and well-prepared. I would give it 5 stars were it not for the attitude of the servers. At best they are competent, at worst very stressed for no apparent reason (rarely is the place full) and downright rude. One actually rolled his eyes and sighed when asked what kind of salad dressings one could choose from.

My favorite place to get breakfast! Nice, fresh and seasonal food plus cute interior and great service. They also serve breakfast til 10pm lol
