Die Preise sind moderat.Im Sommer fahren offene Waggons und ab Herbst die geschlossenen Waggons.Alles wird von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit großen Elan betrieben.(nur als Lokführer nicht).Zu Ostern fährt manchmal der Osterhase mit,und zu Weihnachten natürlich der Weihnachtsmann. Die Kids sind mit Eifer dabei, alle super freundlich und professionell. Wir sind am S-Bahnhof Wuhlheide eingestiegen und waren total aufgeregt. Auf der Internetseite steht der tagesaktuelle Fahrplan zum downloaden zur Verfügung, man muss im angezeigten Kalender nur auf das jeweilige Datum klicken. Wir haben uns für eine Rundfahrt entschieden, diese dauerte ca. 20 Minuten und mit 5€ p.P. ein absolut fairer Preis, allerdings ist nur Barzahlung möglich. Verschieden liebevoll gestaltete sehr saubere Waggons laden zum Einsteigen ein, entweder komplett verschlossen, nur überdacht und an den Seiten offen oder komplett offen. Uns zog die blaue Dampflok Gunther. Neugierig beobachteten wir das Rangieren der Lokomotive, das Ab- und Ankoppeln, das Stellen der Weichen, das Lochen der Fahrkarten, alles manuell, in Zeiten der Automatisierung ein Hauch von Nostalgie.
