I’m from Canada and my hair had been destroyed by a plethora of German salons… to the point where I outright refused to go anywhere and would only get my hair done in Canada. It was really awful and made me feel horrible about myself and my living situation over here… that is, until I found Selin and the wonderful people at Strauch Friseure. They made me feel welcome from the very first visit, let me practice speaking German but switched to English when they knew I couldn’t understand AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, they gave me my identity back. Selin understood my frustrations and the fact that I was traumatized by the salons over here, so she earned my trust - little by little, over several visits until I was comfortable to allow her to cut my hair again. Now - I trust her completely and (when given the choice between Canada or Germany) I would much rather have her do my hair. This salon welcomes everyone and makes every single person feel like they are important, that they matter. I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to write a google review but if you feel like you don’t belong, you have had nothing but horrible experiences, please… COME HERE! Every single person that works here is an actual hero and they just get people. They love people and they are not happy unless you are the best version of yourself! Thank you Selin and all the wonderful people at Strauch Friseure! I will never go anywhere else.

I had a haircut with Daniel today and I'm really happy with it. He took the time to find out exactly what I wanted and gave me good advice. Haven't been so happy with my hair in a long time. Thank you Daniel!

I’ve been here twice and my first experience was really good. The hairdresser did what I wanted and suggested a few things that eventually made the hair cut perfect. The second time the hairdresser didn’t really understand what I wanted and the cut was just average - I was really disappointed. Also when I left the salon my hair didn’t look like I had just gone to the salon - I had to go home and fix it before I went on with the rest of my day.

The more days pass, I’m really not happy with the cut. I will be trying another salon next time
