A lovely hotel and we were lucky to have an amazing wild room. In the photo that's the bathroom door not a rug on the floor. It's the only room I've stayed in with a fake open door on the ceiling! The location was great and central. It is next to the train track but we brought earplugs with us and they worked a treat.

Really good location - within walking distance of the classic Berlin attractions, and good transport links to see the other districts. The bedroom art installations are fun. I was there in a heatwave and a fan was provided without having to ask.

Stayed here for four nights last week and had a great experience. Loved the original and unique art decor; our room was comfortable although sparsely decorated and furnished. Bathroom amenities were lacking but thankfully we had packed our own shampoo and other necessities (they only provided body wash). We had AC in our room so we were very comfortable the entire stay. There’s a cute courtyard for a cup of coffee or a place to read, and a convenience corner to purchase tea, juices, wine, beer, and soft drinks. The WiFi, although free, did not work well in our room so that would have been a problem if we had needed to work during our stay. The hotel is right next to a couple of train tracks so you do hear train noises, but the hotel provides earplugs and we had no trouble sleeping through the noise. Overall, charming, comfy, and clean place to stay in a great location in central Berlin and we’d both recommend it and stay here again.

The room is okay but not special as you might expect from an “Art Hotel”.
Please only advertise with a bath in the room when you can actually reserve it. And then last but not least: I have never been to a hotel that did not provide housekeeping. No tidying of your bed, no clean towels and no shampoo. COVID measures cannot be the reason, lack of staff is more likely.
Not telling this upfront and asking the normal price of €125 a night, without breakfast, is not worth a good review.

My stay at Arte Luise was a very positive experience. I was welcomed by very friendly staff, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. On my departure day, I was offered to keep my luggage there for a few hours and could pick it up on my way to the train station again. Overall, perfect for a short stay!

This hotel was a great place for me to stay overnight. I really loved how close it was to the Reichstag building, Bradenburg gate, etc. It was about 5-10 minutes walking distance. A lot of other reviews complain about it being next to the train track, which it is, BUT, being from America I am used to cargo/freight trains that blare their horns and are very loud as they come by, but this train track is not for those. I believe the trains running on that track are public transportation trains so they are fast trains and definitely not as loud. I was able to sleep comfortably with my windows open even with the trains! It was unbothersome to me!

My room also was very clean. Came with towels and clean bed sheets and comforters. Very comfortable! My room did not come with a private bathroom, which was OK and what I booked, since I am used to hostels, but for those who want a private bathroom make sure you book as such! They also offered me breakfast which I kindly declined. Overall great place to stay with friendly staff!

Good points: nice big rooms, well situated close to the main train station, not too expensive.
Less good points: no airconditioning (we managed by opening the windows before dinner), S-bahn running right next to the hotel so you can not sleep with the windows open. With windows closed we were able to sleep more or less. (We had room 101 right next to the train).
