That's why the new bar/bistro seemed predestined for our New Year's Eve party.

Oddities:
1. No cloakroom or storage for our rain-soaked clothing.
2. The drinks menu was a mix of drinks, some with funny names, but without wines and spirits.
We learned from the waiter that there was a red wine and a white wine by the glass.
3. The €40.00 New Year's Eve buffet was sufficient for the undemanding, hungry guest to fill up - there was no question of a pleasurable experience of Greek or Mediterranean delicacies.
4. We found the selection of appealing drinks more than modest. So we tried the cocktails.
And another failure.
The first, second, third order of the well-known "standard" mixed drink had nothing to do with the usual cocktails of the same name from other suppliers. The Mai Tai z. B. tasted like the drained juice from a can of mixed fruit and we kept asking ourselves whether there was any alcohol in it at all?!
After that we finally wanted something high-percentage. No menu - the small selection was announced (e.g. a JIM BEAM or Rum HAVANNA CLUB 7.90). Other or better quality could not be obtained.

Conclusion:
We ended up drinking very little alcohol and no one was tipsy.
Nevertheless, we had a great evening because we were a good bunch and had a lot of fun together.

Summary:
Top prices for the worst cocktails that we (all) have ever drunk.
If this level is maintained, I am already looking forward to the next innkeeper/operator.

Die komplette Umgestaltung der "eingegangenen" Vorgänger-Kneipe GELBEN KATZE, danach BILDERSTÜBCHEN ist m. E. grundsätzlich gelungen. Modern Style, angenehmes Ambiente, aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung.
Deshalb schien die neue Bar/Bistro für unsere Silvester-Party prädestiniert.

Merkwürdigkeiten:
1. keine Garderobe oder Unterbringungsmöglichkeit für unsere regennasse Bekleidung.
2. Die Getränkekarte war eine Mixgetränke Zusammenstellung, teils mit witzigen Namen, allerdings ohne Weine und Spirituosen.
Von der Bedienung erfuhren wir, dass es einen Rotwein und einen Weißwein im Glas gäbe.
3. Das 40,00 € -Silvester-Büfett war für den anspruchslosen hungrigen Gast zum Sattwerden ausreichend - von einem Genuss-Erlebnis griechischer bzw. mediterraner Köstlichkeiten konnte keine Rede sein.
4. Die Auswahlmöglichkeiten an ansprechenden Getränken empfanden wir mehr als bescheiden. Also probierten wir die Cocktails.
Und wieder ein Reinfall.
Die erste, zweite, dritte Bestellung der allgemein bekannten "Standard"-Mixgetränk hatte nichts mit den gewohnten gleichnamige Cocktails anderer Anbieter zu tun. Der Mai Tai z. B. schmeckte wie der abgegossene Saft aus einer Mischobstkonserve und wir stellten uns immer wieder die Frage, ob da überhaupt Alkohol drin sei?!
Danach wollten wir endlich mal etwas Hoch-prozentiges. Keine Karte - die geringe Auswahl wurde angesagt (z. B. ein JIM BEAM oder Rum HAVANNA CLUB 7,90). Andere bzw. bessere Qualität war nicht zu bekommen.

Fazit:
Wir tranken letztlich wenig Alkohol und niemand war beschwipst.
Dennoch hatten wir einen toller Abend, weil wir eine dufte Truppe waren und viel Spaß miteinander hatten.

Zusammenfassung:
Spitzen-Preise für die schlechtesten Cocktails, die wir (allesamt) je getrunken haben.
Bei Aufrechterhaltung dieses Niveaus bin ich jetzt schon auf den nächsten Gastwirt/Betreiber gespannt.

Ich war vor geraumer Zeit mal mit einer Freundin zum Cocktailtrinken dort. Sex on the Beach war bis dato immer mein Favorit aber seit Angelo's habe ich mich in den Watermelon Man verliebt. Allgemein sind die Cocktail sehr gut und erschwinglich. Zur Happy Hour kann man nochmal ordentlich Geld sparen. Das Ambiente lädt zum langen Sitzen und genießen ein. Es gibt sogar einen Clubraum.Jetzt habe ich auch das essen (bis auf die Pizza) getestet und zu empfehlen ist definitiv der Angelo's spezial Burger. Die anderen Speisen sind natürlich auch sehr lecker. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und bei den Frauen steht sogar eine kleine Box für den weiblichen Notfall mit allerlei Krimskrams bereit.
Für Cocktails to go wird auf Anregung schon gesorgt und zur Not hat er immer eine Lösung parat oder Frau eine Tupperflasche im Gepäck ????
Ich fühle mich dort bei guter Musik und Vedienung sehr wohl und kann es nur jedem empfehlen dort mal hin zu gehen!!

Wir kamen zur happy hour und es war draußen nur noch ein 4 hochstuhl/tisch frei. Angelo wollte uns einen extra tisch rausholen, aber wir setzen uns an den besagten tisch. Die pina colada war bestellt und kam flink und in erstauntem outfit, was ich bis dato so auch noch nicht gesehen habe mit einer schüssel Nüsse. Die colada schmeckte, auf Wunsch mit weniger Eis kam die zweite :) das ambiente so direkt am parkplatz ist jetzt nicht so der hit, aber es wurde auch nicht langweilig, was alles vorbeiging oder fuhr. ( es war sev von blankenburg nach bernau) die Busse waren übervoll .... werde ich trotzdem wieder besuchen.

Das Essen schmeckt gut, auch wenn die Auswahl sehr begrenzt ist. Dafür gibt es eine große Auswahl an Cocktails. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und die Einrichtung sehr gemütlich. Die Toiletten haben eine ganz gute Qualität.
Die Bar ist gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Es fahren die Linien 150 und 158, sowie nachts der N58. In nächster Umgebung findet man weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, wi den gegenüber liegenden Lidl oder die Bäckerei Wildschütz. Es gibt auch genügend und kostenfreie Parkplätze.

Schön ausgebaut aber leider ist die bedinung( Sonntag) sehr träge und wirkt lustlos auf den Job. Ich finde es toll das in Karow eine Bar aufgemacht hat wo man am Abend einfach mal hin kann mit Freunden. Leider sind die Preise zu hoch für diese Dörfliche Gegend denke ich. Die Drinks werden erst besser nachdem man darauf aufmerksam macht das die Mischung nicht dem entspricht was auf der Karte steht. Ich hoffe es wird besser.
