They host events for migrant communies. I went in an Afro night and enjoyed a tasty dish from Cameroon and danced with afro music. Fair prices. It is allowed to smoke inside and the terrace closes at 10 pm during weekdays. I'm definitely going to visit it again.

You have to come try their Arak, it’s a great atmosphere with the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. When I first visited this bar, I didn’t imagine that I would be coming back so often. The music, the atmosphere, the crowd, the drinks, I love it all. Somehow felt like home from the first visit. Thank you for creating this space

A charming place in the heart of the neighborhood. Highly recommended for spending a great time with friends accompanied by delightful music and delicious food and drinks. It is a great spot to work during the day in a quite atmosphere. A vibrant and friendly team runs this space and offers great shows, talks and events.

Great place for a morning coffee and/or an evening drink with friends. I usually go there to work during the day. They also have amazing drinks and I especially like their white wine and Arak, and offer a variety of snacks. They also host music and cultural events!

Al Cafe/Bar is unquestionably, one of the best coffee shops and bars in Kreuzberg! The atmosphere inside is constantly very vibrant, chill, and relaxing. Check out the beautiful interior and dwell in the cozy outside garden with featured selected artwork by the co-owners and artists from Berlin and elsewhere. They have an upstairs working space/studio for events and meetings, which is strongly recommended. With a fast and reliable internet connection, you can get work done or simply come in to read a book and/or catch up with friends. The staff is extremely welcoming and courteous, and they constantly go out of their way to ensure a smooth and friendly experience. Truly, the crew ensures fair and affordable prices for all items on the menu, including an excellent selection of alcoholic (EG Arak) and non-alcoholic beverages. They also have pastries, delicious sandwiches, and occasionally prepare brunches that include vegan and vegetarian options. The co-owners are always present to welcome guests and friends. This diverse space has been the home of several academic events. The managing crew usually features live bands, invites talented DJs from different corners of the globe, and always curates diverse playlists. They recently organized the Al.Festival, a two-day musical festival that featured world-class acts and musicians.

Al Cafe/Bar is highly recommended and truly is a gem in the heart of Kreuzberg and the wider city of Berlin! Visit soon! You won't regret it, and you will find yourself occasionally spending time and creating memories. Thanks to the fantastic team for the positive drive and spirit. Keep it up!

This place is a gem and an oasis in a busy part of kreutzberg. Not only do the amazing collective of friends and artists that created this space serve the best coffee and Arak and Hummus in town, they manage to be both a daytime cafe and a nighttime bar by transitioning smoothly between both. Kids can play while their parents have their morning coffees and afternoon drinks, all under one roof! To top it all off and in typical Berlin fashion they also host art shows and talks as well as varied cultural events.
